DAMOCLES is a European COST Action (CA17109) that aims at the understanding and modeling of compound climate and weather events. Compound weather and climate events describe combinations of multiple climate drivers and/or hazards that contribute to societal or environmental risk. During such events, multiple weather and climate drivers come together and surpass the coping capacity of the underlying systems.
